A walk in the park

It was 40 degrees on February 16th, 2008 and Teresa, Rachael & I decided to make the most of the unseasonably warm weather. We took a walk, had coffee at Starbucks and took a walk around the park. Rachael was so thrilled with the ducks she wouldn't look at me.

These are some of the ducks at the park. They look sort of like mallards, but the bodies are too dark.

The New Bike

This is the new member of the family. I bought this Honda 1976 CB 550 from a client who is moving to Miami. It was $200! This is now the second classic bike in my garage. I tried to sell my BMW R60/5 but the potential buyer backed out. I'd like to get the tank smoothed out and have it painted a metalic chartuese. Maybe with a decal of Teresa as a Vargas on either side of the tank. (We'll see if Teresa actually reads this blog.)

Just a Teresa update.
She's doing great. The new studio has been wonderful for her business. She's excited about gettng our house on Eastview sold.
During this whole process we had to put a lot of things on our credit card, so much in fact, Teresa discovered we have enough for a free 4 day cruise with our reward points.

Motorcycles

Normally this is all about Rachael, but once in a while I hit something I can't believe. Like anyone would ever consider a 1956 Triumph one of their top picks for a motorcycle. Having owned one, it's the motorcycle that made my prerequsite for all other bikes "It has to start every time"
