Fall day 6

Cloudy this morning, but sun came out later.

Teresa had a doctors appointment today so I took some time to be with Rachael. We rode my bike to the Scioto Audubon Park and then hit Story Time at the main library. She didn’t want her picture taken in front of the big shark, but insisted on the big fish and big octopus.

In and out of summer

At the beginning of summer, maybe even April or May, Rachael was able to climb up the slide and go down all by herself with no help from mom or dad. Before anyone thinks I let her slam down on the hard ground, the surface of the playground is actually covered with a soft man made material which is nearly pillow like.
I was smart enough to video her at the end of the season also.

This is the new Scioto Audubon Park on the 1st full day of fall.

Ultrasound Shots

Teresa had an ultrasound today and she was able to have the shots taken with the 3D image machine. These are pretty impressive.

Dora at the zoo

I could not believe the number of toddlers and parents who came to the zoo today to see Dora The Explorer. We took a train ride, a pony ride then stood in line for a while so Rachael could meet her hero. It was so loud at the pony ride I couldn't hear Rachael too well and I thought she said hi to only Grandma, but I was wrong.
