Miss Bratwurst

Slane got his picture taken with the 1st and 2nd runner up of Miss Bratwurst. Miss Bratwurst was at the OSU game so she spent the day in the rain and these two got to hang with guys like Sal.

I ran into Miss Oktoberfest Saturday evening and she says she knows my family. Who's surprised?

Teresa is doing very well at the Oktoberfest at the fairgrounds this year. She tells me it's beautiful.

Ear Tubes

Slane in his surgury scrubs.
He is in a great mood and another couple said ear tubes for their kids only took 7 minutes.
We are also he'll sleep the rest of the day. Dare to dream!

Ear Tubes

Slane had a doctor's appointment yesterday to see about tubes in his ears. He has had constant ear infections since he was born and antibiotics aren't knocking it out.
He goes in a week from today at Children's.

Zoo Class

Another Tuesday and another Zoo Kids Class.
Slane eats and naps while Rach is learning about animals.
Last night Rachael made muffins for aunt Nancy and delivered them on ou walk from the Brown Bag where we had ice cream with sprinkles, of course.

Bathtime for Slane today. He really loves baths and goes down easy later.
Rachael had her bath too and dad read her 3 stories afterward.

Rachael learned the hard way the problems with eating an ice cream cone while driving.

In The Park

This is Rach and Slane in the park by the Umbrella Girl on Tuesday afternoon. Minutes later an unleashed dog run up to Rachael and eats her sandwich out of her hand.
I'm told the dog's owner could have been more sincere in her apology.
I find it pretty rude and inconsiderate.

Ice Cream

Rachael, Slane and I took a walk last night to get ice cream at The Brown Bag.
Rachael wanted "pink ice cream with sprinkles" so the strawberry cheesecake it was.
Slanr preferred his crackers.
