Pumpkin Patch
Train ride in Nelsonville, Ohio
Saturday we decided to drive to Nelsonville, Ohio because they have historic train rides there. The trip down was about an hour and it was easy to find.
We were surprised to find my friend, Ernie Farabaugh, and his family on the same train.
The engine was built in 1952, but they had a steam locomotive there being restored. The cars were from different eras and were comfortable for our hour and a half trip.
The landscape passing by the windows really held the kid's attention, like a cartoon without the animals talking with speech impediments.
We were expecting to see rolling hills and fall colors and we did, but most of what the tour guide was telling us was about what used to be there.

At the park
Probably one of our last days at the park yesterday.
Don’t let this playful attitude fool you.
Sunday his sister was bothering him all day. I walked upstairs to put some things away and I heard a “OUCH! SLANEY!!!!” from Rachael.
When I came down I discovered Slane had waited until his sister was on the potty, opened the door and hit her in the head with his training potty seat. He then ran.
I have to give him credit for timing, technique and artistic expression (he could have hit her with anything; shoes, a play chair, his bug carrier, but the potty seat was genius), but he still got a scolding.
