Marshmallow
Rachael and I made marshmallows while we should have been cleaning the house Sunday morning. We are putting a layer of marshmallow between 2 layers of chocolate chips. We won’t know how it tastes until this evening because it takes so long to set up. Slane wanted nothing to do with it.

Saturday In The Park(s)
Put the kids in the bike trailer and then hit Goodale Park with the intention of flying a kite and having lunch. The kids played, but the kite wasn’t going to happen. So we rode to the Audubon Park. This old priest was there with a bunch of people and had a great time teaching Rachael how to fly the kite. He had more fun than Rach! The entire trip was only a little over 7 miles.

Breakfast With A Book

For Breakfast With A Book Wednesday each class had to dress up like a bird. You can see Rach, she is behind her friend Reese. They were dancing so it was hard to get a good shot. In case you couldn’t guess they were penguins.

At the circus!

The bicycles were the perfect way to go. We didn't have to pay for parking, didn't have to hunt for a space or wait to get out of the garage.

At garden store

Teresa is just glad he didn’t feel like putting her house keys or wallet in a plant.

One Butterfly
We had a butterfly emerge yesterday while Rachael was at school. They are supposed to drink sugar water off flowers and lick sliced oranges. I didn't see them doing either, but the kids are thrilled.

Almost Butterflies
We hung our chrysalis last night (everyone knows they are really called cocoons) and when one started moving it freaked everyone out. It turns out they do this as a defense. The kids are really excited to see the butterflies.

Ice Cream
Friday Teresa had a show and took Rachael so it was just Slane and I. I couldn’t find any motorcycle shows on TV, I don’t know why you would show anything else, so we rode the bicycle to kinko’s to get a poster mounted for Teresa and to get some ice cream at Jeni’s in German Village.
