On Saturday we took everyone to Slate Run Historic Farm. This is a working farm set in the 1880's.
Rachael and Slane really got a kick out of seeing so many animals up close. Slane tried to pet a horse, but that didn't work out. He poked the horse in the eye. The horse is fine and didn't hold a grudge.
He also loved the geese. As he was running toward a pair, which were as tall as he was, they came at him hissing. I picked him up to carry him away and saw the geese were protecting their goslings.
